Traditional Ho’oponopono Practitioner Training
Let’s get this straight up front - the Traditional Ho’oponopono of our Ancestors is not, repeat not, a 3 line prayer. It’s not about “cleaning” (for those of you who’ve read that book) and it’s not something you do by yourself…
We teach you what Ho’oponopono is - starting right now! Ho’o is to do something, to take an action, like a verb in English it’s a doing word. So right off you know you’re going to be doing something. Pono is to make things right. When a word is repeated, we know it’s a very important thing to do for our overall wellbeing. So ponopono means to make it absolutely right and by doing so, you bring yourself into right alignment with Spirit and you’re aligned spiritually, mentally, physically.
Ho’oponopono is a process. There’s steps involved. And detailed Teachings underneath - the foundations. The Papa. You do it with some who’s been specifically trained to do it - the Luna Ho’oponopono. It’s Practitioner Training taught by Julia - a busy, successful Pracititioner and Chief Guide at SoHAD.
Suitable for: Lomi Lomi Practitioners, Home Healers, Professional Therapists, Seekers & Explorers interested in their own healing.
Learn Ho’oponopono in 3 Stages
Stage 1: Foundations of Hawaiian Spirituality.
This is the “spine” of your training and the foundation of everything we do as Healers. You will learn what we call the ABC’s of Hawaiian Spirituality & Healing. You will learn each Teaching and how to use it with your Clients - starting with yourself.
Stage 2: Ho’oponopono Practitioner Training
You start learning the “how to’s” in Stage 1 and build on it in Stage 2. You learn the whole end-to-end process including the Protocols, Oli/Chants, Pule/Prayers, the whole skillset for working with Clients and the Ancestors who are part of the process.
Stage 3: Get Ready for Professional Practice
Our own Teacher often says “the world needs more Healers” - which is why we make sure you’re set for success. Participate in group supervision, optional but highly recommeded, 1:1 Wise Guide Sessions, plus thereʻs an online business skills module too.
Stage 1: PAPA: The Foundation
Full and comprehensive training is the name of the game. No shortcuts. Full on focus on performance is what we’re going for…
Stage 1: PAPA: The Foundations of Hawaiian Healing:
Made up of The Path to Pa’a Workshop + Living Paʻa Series
Everyone starts here whether you’re doing training as a Home Healer, Professional Therapist or Spiritual Seeker, this is your starting point. It’s the foundation we call “the ABC’s” of Hawaiin Spirituality & Healing. Every Healer in our Lineage for 50+ Generations learns these things at depth BEFORE learning how to do the practical aspect of Ho’oponopono. You have to 100% know and be confident in these things first, in order to understand where Ho’oponopono fits in as its own healing modality and with others, like Lomi Lomi, and to be a Skilled Helper. Both of these are stand-alone workshops, read more about them on their own page and in the Course Guides.
Stage 2: Luna Ho’oponopono Training
With the PAPA in place you’re ready for Stage 2. Here you will learn everything you need to know: the structure of a Ho’oponopono Session, the correct Protocols for carrying one out, the steps and stages in the process, managing the process, taking your client through it, working with the Ancestors, intuitive connection, deep listening skills, questioning skills, problem solving skills, finding Pohaku/ Stones, or you might call it baggage, releasing them, forgiving, the hana/work that needs to occur after the session completes and self-care. You’ll build knowledge, skills and the internal qualities and essence needed, as well as developing a practice grounded in Hawaiian Spiritual principles and values.
Stage 3: Get Ready for Practice
Group Supervision is compulsory for all, an important feature of your learning to transfer it to practice. The Elective is non-compulsory but we very strongly recommend you do it if you want to work in a professional setting. Family Healers don’t need to do this module. And, as well, we highly recommend you book 1:1 Sessions - at least two or three - with a Wise Guide as they’ll help you to process, transform your own pohaku/stones and mentor you to refine your questioning, listening and client management skills too.
